📘 Introduction: Interrogative Sentences
Interrogative Sentences (प्रश्नवाचक वाक्य) दो प्रकार के होते हैं: Yes/No Questions (जिनका उत्तर हाँ/नहीं में होता है) और Wh-Questions (जो What, Where, When, Why, Who, Whom, Whose, How से शुरू होते हैं)। Direct से Indirect में बदलते समय इनके विशेष नियम होते हैं।

- 🔹 Reporting Verb ('said to') को asked (या inquired) में बदलें।
- 🔹 Question Mark (?) हटाकर Full Stop (.) लगाएँ।

- 🔹 Wh-Questions → Wh-word ही Conjunction बनेगा।

- Time/Place: Now→Then, Here→There, etc.

Rule 5: Questions with Do/Does/Did

जब Direct Speech में 'Do/Does/Did' सहायक क्रिया हो:
- Indirect Speech में 'Do/Does/Did' हट जाता है और Verb अपने Tense के अनुसार बदलता है।
- यदि Reporting Verb Past में है → Present Simple → Past Simple; Past Simple → Past Perfect.
- Conjunction 'if/whether' (Yes/No) या Wh-word (Wh-Question) का प्रयोग होता है।
