Pronoun – किसी Noun के स्थान पर प्रयुक्त शब्द।
- Personal: I, you, he, she, it, we, they – व्यक्ति या वस्तु के लिए
- Possessive: mine, yours, his, hers, its, ours, theirs – स्वामित्व दिखाने के लिए
- Reflexive: myself, yourself, himself, herself, itself, ourselves, yourselves, themselves – जब कर्ता और कर्म एक ही हों
- Demonstrative: this, that, these, those – किसी वस्तु/व्यक्ति की ओर इशारा करने के लिए
- Interrogative: who, whom, which, what, whose – प्रश्न पूछने के लिए
- Relative: who, whom, which, that, whose – दो वाक्यों को जोड़ने के लिए (संबंध सूचक)

Pronoun को उसके Antecedent (जिस Noun के स्थान पर आया है) के साथ Number, Person, Gender में मेल खाना चाहिए।
- Singular Antecedent → Singular Pronoun (e.g., Each student must bring his book.)
- Plural Antecedent → Plural Pronoun (e.g., The students brought their books.)
- Collective Nouns (team, jury) – Singular या Plural हो सकते हैं, अर्थ पर निर्भर।
- Indefinite Pronouns (everyone, someone, nobody, etc.) हमेशा Singular होते हैं → Singular Pronoun।
