📖 Detailed Notes – Rules with 5 Examples Each

🗣️ 1 Rule 1: Say vs Tell – Difference

  • Say – किसी Object (me/him/her) के बिना प्रयोग होता है।
Structure: say (to someone) that... → He said (to me) that...
Structure: tell someone that... → He told me that...
  • Say के साथ 'to' लग सकता है, लेकिन Tell के साथ नहीं ('tell to me' गलत है)।
  • कुछ निश्चित phrases: tell a story, tell a lie, tell the truth, tell time, etc.
📝 5 Examples:
  1. He said, "I am happy." → He said that he was happy. (no object)
